Extension Arm Pneumatic Balancers

P/N: KEAA2000 / KEAA2500

The Knight Global KEAA2000 and KEAA2500 extension arm balancers let the operator reach beyond the working envelope of the overhead rail system in a workstation. A pneumatic balancer mounts to the extension arm, giving controlled raising and lowering of the load.

The KEAA2000 and KEAA2500 travel inside Knight Global RAD4110, RAD6110 or RAD7510 aluminium rail. Two versions are available:

KEAA2500 – Single Bridge: for light and medium duty applications, compact and lighter in weight.
KEAA2000 – Dual Bridge: higher capacity and greater stability when handling heavy or off-centre loads.

When selecting a pneumatic balancer, FULLSHARP recommends sizing the working load at 80% of the rated capacity to allow for plant air pressure fluctuation. Balancers are rated at a standard supply pressure of 100 psi [6.8 bar].

Working capacity formula: Example – plant air at 60 psi, a 350 lbs balancer, 80% load factor → (60/100) × 350 lbs = 210 lbs × 0.80 = 168 lbs of actual working capacity.

Maintenance recommendation: Knight Global recommends a food-grade, high-pressure, anti-wear penetrating oil – Lubriplate® 1241 for wire rope, or SAE 50-90 EP motor / gear oil for load chain.
