Description
SLSA-3 & SLSA-4 SPRING LOADED VACUUM CUP SUSPENSION ASSEMBLIES
Level compensators in 1/4″ NPT, G 1/4″ and G 3/8″ – travel to 120 mm, plus slide suspensions
Product Overview
Softens the attach and increases vacuum cup life. ANVER vacuum cups can be mounted to most vacuum systems using spring loaded suspension assemblies – high quality, well finished assemblies designed for high speed automation applications.
Adjustable bulkhead fittings mount to almost any lifting frame, while a variety of tube fittings connect the assembly to the vacuum generating system. These mounting systems act as extensions while providing support when handling a load.
This is the largest of the SLSA range: the SLSA-3 series takes a 1/4″ NPT male thread with travel to 120 mm, and the SLSA-4 adds a G 3/8″ version for the larger cups and pads.
Custom adaptation – the SLSA-3 and SLSA-4 suspensions can be adapted with tube fittings, mini vacuum generators, sensing valves and custom adapters. Contact FULL-SHARP for assistance.
Advantages of Suspension Assemblies
01 – Less machine indexing
Reduces machine indexing when picking material up from a stack.
02 – Height compensation
Compensates for variations in object height and gives a soft touch attach.
03 – Less shock and noise
Minimises shock and noise to both the object and the machine.
04 – Longer cup life
Provides consistent cup pressure on each pick-up, which increases cup life.
05 – Simple interface
An easy way for the vacuum cup and vacuum lines to interface with machine tooling.
06 – Stainless steel rod
The suspension rod and springs are stainless steel throughout – a step up from the plated steel tube used on the smaller series.

Suspension Assemblies
The SLSA-3838G-102 is the suspension used with the larger VP and FP pads and the PFC 3/8G-F panel cups. It has short travel but takes a much thicker mounting plate – up to 1.25 in. (31.8 mm).
Slide Suspension Assemblies
Slide suspensions clamp onto a crossarm rather than through a panel hole, so the cup position can be slid along the arm and locked. Choose by crossarm size: 1.75 in. (44 mm) or 2.00 in. (51 mm) square.
Tube Fittings
Tube fittings are purchased separately to connect the spring loaded suspension assembly to the vacuum hose. They are available in barbed, push-in and compression connections, in straight, elbow and tee configurations, and accept tubes with standard inside and outside diameters.
All fittings are electroless nickel plated. The HS14-14M-G is the part that lets a G 1/4″ cup thread – such as the PFC 1/4G-F panel cups – mount to an SLSA-3 suspension.
Additional Adapter Fittings
All adapter fittings are electroless nickel plated.
Thread note – the “G” thread is also known as BSPP, and is commonly used worldwide for vacuum applications.
Smaller sizes – the SLSA-2 series takes a G 1/8″ male thread, and the SLSA-1 series an M5 / 10-32 UNF female thread.
Contact FULL-SHARP with the cup thread, the height variation to compensate and the crossarm or panel thickness, and we will confirm the suspension and the fittings.
