Knight Global Floor Mounted Rail Systems are designed to give a safe, efficient answer to ergonomic challenges on the shop floor. A wide range of configuration options covers the specific technical and application requirements of each customer.

The suspension rail uses enclosed trolley track that keeps dust out of the running surface – giving smoother, quieter operation. Floor mounted rail systems are available in both single bridge and dual bridge configurations to suit a wide range of lifting requirements.

AFMRS1000 – Aluminium Floor Mounted Rail System

Features

  • Suspends Knight RAD4110, RAD6110 and RAD7510 bridges.
  • Engineered aluminium posts.
  • Engineered aluminium cross bracing.
  • Bridge type: single or dual.
  • Runway rail type: RAD7510.
  • Maximum runway length: 9,144 mm [30 ft].
  • Maximum bridge length:
    • RAD7510: 9,144 mm [30 ft]
    • RAD6110 / RAD4110: 7,620 mm [25 ft]
  • Maximum post height: 4.5 m [15 ft] to the underside of the runway.

  • Runway rail type: RAD7510 / RAD6110 / RAD4110.
  • Maximum bridge length:
    • RAD7510: 8,229 mm [27 ft]
    • RAD6110 / RAD4110: 7,620 mm [25 ft]
  • Maximum post height: 4.5 m [15 ft] to the underside of the runway.
  • Maximum capacity: up to 1,360 kg [3,000 lbs].

CMRS1000 – Cantilevered Rail System

Features

  • Maximum post height: 5,181 mm [17 ft].
  • Maximum bridge length: 7,010 mm [23 ft].
  • Rigid end truck – prevents the bridge skewing under sudden load, keeping lifting and lowering accurate.
  • End cap with shock absorber – absorbs the impact when the bridge reaches the end of the rail.
  • Extended stack hangers with 38 mm [1.5 in] of vertical adjustment in 6 mm [0.25 in] increments.
  • Anti-sway guy cables with adjustable turnbuckles.
  • Pad eyes built into the bridge for safety cables and horizontal bracing cables.
  • Bridge pad eyes also allow the bridge to be lifted during system assembly.

  • Runways longer than 8,230 mm [27 ft]:

  • Maximum capacity: varies with the specific application.

  • Custom designed around the application and the customer’s specific load requirement.
  • Suits buildings with restricted headroom, or where the roof structure cannot carry an overhead system.
